01.13.08: Lembit was chosen to be a Composition Fellow at the Chamber Music Conference and Composers' Forum of the East at Bennington College, VT during the summer of 2008.

01.11.08: Uneasy Tides was chosen as a winner of the Quintet Attacca call for scores.

06.15.07: Lembit Beecher was chosen as the winner of a First Music 24 commission to write a percussion concerto for percussionist James Deitz and the New York Youth Symphony.
