About the piece:
My grand-uncle Ilmar, who lives in Estonia, is a wonderful storyteller. He gave to my family tapes of himself telling stories from his childhood. These stories are largely about the soviet invasion and occupation of Estonia during the second world war. This piece uses these tapes as a bases for a portrait of him.
